We started with a world we wanted to exist.

Chapterists is a narrative studio building the tools and worlds for a new kind of story, one you don't just watch but become part of.

Every kid who loved a story wanted to be part of it.

You drew the maps. You named the rooms. You spent whole afternoons inside a world that existed only because you kept believing in it. Then you grew up and the door closed, and you were told that watching was enough.

It never was. The best stories have always felt like places you should be able to visit, and the technology to build them has never been closer. But there's a gap between a film that tells a beautiful story you can only watch, and a game that gives you a world but lets the narrative dissolve. We wanted to build something in between: a curated story you can experience however you choose.

So we decided to build it. The tools to make living story worlds, and a format that lets audiences experience them however they want. We call it Olvido.

The best stories have always felt like places you should be able to visit.

We build the technology because we have a story to tell.

There's a world in our heads that we've been carrying around for a long time. No existing format could hold it, so we started building one that could. That's where Olvido came from. Not from a pitch deck or a product roadmap, but from a story that needed tools that didn't exist yet.

The story pushes the technology forward, and the technology opens up possibilities the story never had before. That loop is the whole philosophy. We're building Olvido because we need it to make our worlds, and our worlds keep demanding more from Olvido.

The lamp is on. New worlds are starting to appear.
